Ideal for the family on vacation, the La Rouvière campsite in Vallon Pont d’Arc Ardèche offers very comfortable bungalows with a spacious living area and separate bedrooms.
Unlike a tent, these are pre-assembled on a floor extended by a shaded terrace with its accessories. The bungalow offers a solid structure. Designed with 2 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with furniture, hob, microwave and fridge in the living room for greater comfort.
Park your car in your rental car park. Put down your suitcases and go for a swim.

To spend a good holiday in the middle of nature, you need a good roof. Our canvas bungalows offer reassuring and secure shelter. This is the accommodation solution chosen by thousands of French people every year when they go on summer vacation.
For children, the bungalow is like a teepee… a real adventure. So imagine that this teepee is a few meters from the Ardeche and that the canoe… oops sorry, the canoe is waiting for you on the beach.
At La Rouvière campsite, we put everything in place to make this adventure a reality for your children. Our bungalow park has grown considerably in recent years to meet this demand.
To properly rent your bungalow
Here are some criteria to consider to book your bungalow in the best conditions.
- The environment. To fully enjoy your stay, the location of the bungalow must match your expectations, the style and pace of life you want during your vacation. Obviously the budget is an important point. At La Rouvière, the camp is conducive to letting go of the daily grind. Here at the bottom of the Ardèche gorges, you leave your professional life aside and take the time to live and relax with your family. Groups, friends and especially young couples also appreciate our bungalows.
- The location of the bungalow
Camping la Rouvière is located in the department of Ardèche (name of the river that crosses it) in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. We are in the town of Vallon Pont d’Arc and benefit in summer from the free shuttle which makes round trips in 5 minutes from the city center to the field bus stop. Compared to others, we are a small campsite but we enjoy an exceptional environment since we are in the heart of the Ardèche gorges. Our loyal customers particularly appreciate this natural setting as well as all the amenities and services offered by the campsite: the descent of the Ardèche of course, but also activities on site, evenings and our restaurant. Each pitch has a parking space, a green space of around 100m² and sometimes a large terrace for mobile homes. - The type of bungalow
We have 2 types of bungalows available. The 4-seater Caraïbe and the more spacious Canada can accommodate up to 7 people – ideal for families. Two bedrooms are separated from the living area, which has a kitchen equipped with fridge and microwave. The main kitchen utensils are provided, pan, dishes, plates, glasses, cutlery as well as a bucket, broom and shovel to preserve cleanliness. For groups of friends or clubs, we have a bungalow formula for 10 people. These bungalows are more intended for stays of the type ‘ Descent of the Ardèche by canoe with accommodation ‘. During the summer period, these “canoe + bungalow” formulas are very popular. It is recommended to book your accommodation early to avoid being put on a waiting list.
PRICE BUNGALOW CAMPSITE
Like the other accommodations, the bungalows are rented when the campsite is open – from March to October. At this time of the year one could fear the cold of spring, but the bungalows are covered with a thick canvas which insulates both from the spring humidity and from the high summer heat.
And then the southern climate does things well. You can really enjoy the outdoors in our area.
The prices of these rental accommodations vary according to 2 main factors:
- The size of the bungalow and its capacity
- and the season in which it is rented. At La Rouvière we have 4 rental periods and 3 tariff bases. Basically,
- Low season : March 5 to July 1 AND August 21 to November 30
- Mid season : July 2 to 22
- High season : from July 23 to August 20
On the other hand, the prices of the bungalows are all the same regardless of their location on the camp. Whether they are close to the beach, the river or not.

To make your vacation a success and be certain of having the location of your choice, book your accommodation a little in advance.
The simplest is online booking by form.
Thank you for agreeing to enter all the information requested, this allows you to edit a complete slip for your order. At the time of booking the stay a deposit will be required. For short stays (less than 2 days) we ask our customers to kindly pay the entire stay.
For stays of more than 4 weeks on site, we can consider installment payments to be agreed together before your arrival on the campsite.
Not all the surrounding campsites have the chance to enjoy such an exceptional natural environment and so close to the Ardèche gorges – with beach – as that of the La Rouvière campsite.
